Look at your thoughts: are they serving you?

Your mind can only process one thought at a time, although you feel you are experiencing one million thoughts at once, this is not the case. How should you avoid intrusive/negative thoughts?

Don’t have a conversation with your thoughts, ignore noises, sounds around you. Instead, focus your thoughts on one point. If you find yourself drifting when meditating, come back to the present, focus again.

There are levels of meditation:

Level 1 is about breathing, focusing on your muscles and lungs, so that your physical body can relax.

Level 2 involves focusing on images and being able to keep your attention on the images you intentionally decide you want to concentrate on.

Level 3 focuses on stillness. It is when you enter the bliss state. This takes time, according to your state of mind. This level of meditation allows you to go into deep silence.

Bring balance to your thoughts. Meditation is the awareness of your present feelings, actions and therefore provides a deeper understanding of yourself. Bring your focus on what you want to achieve, rather than on your intrusive/negative thoughts.

Give yourself a reason to meditate.
