Often we feel like we are going backwards, but going backwards can give you the push you need to move forward.
It is not about feeling anger or guilt when you are not moving forward; it is about choosing. Choose peace, not guilt, choose calm, not anger. Stop feeding your thoughts with negative emotions when you feel you are stagnating. If you stay focused on negative emotions there will be no improvement in the situation you are struggling with. Focusing on the same thoughts means the outcome will be the same.
Accept your thoughts are negative, defeatist etc. Once you do that, stop thinking about the negative events in your life which only gives power to your negative thoughts.
Look at life being full and what you can do with your life. Nothing will change if you don’t change.
